How we handle your data.
Last updated September 2026. Short version: we don't collect much, and we don't sell anything.
What we collect
OkayStream doesn't require an account to browse the rankings, vote on a site, or submit a listing, so we don't hold profiles, passwords, or personal details for regular visitors. When you vote on a site or submit a new listing, we store your IP address in a hashed form, not the raw address, so we can stop the same visitor from voting on a site over and over or flooding the submission form. That's the extent of it. If you use the contact email or fill in the submission form, we obviously see whatever you type into it, name, URL, and any note you add.
Analytics
We use Statcounter to get a general sense of how many people visit the site and where they come from. Statcounter may set its own cookie and collect standard analytics data like browser type, approximate location, and pages viewed. We don't control what Statcounter does with that data beyond what they disclose in their own policy, so if you want the full picture, it's worth reading their privacy policy directly.
Cookies
Aside from what Statcounter sets, the only cookie on this site is a session cookie used by the admin login, which regular visitors never touch. The mobile menu and other small interactions on the site run on plain CSS and don't need cookies at all.
Third party links
OkayStream is a directory. Every streaming site listed here is run by someone else, and once you click through, you're on their site under their rules. We have no control over how those sites handle your data, what they track, or what ads they show, so it's worth checking their own privacy policy before you use them.
What we don't do
We don't sell, rent, or trade visitor data to advertisers or anyone else. We don't run ad networks of our own on this site. We don't build tracking profiles tied to your identity.
Changes to this policy
